A beautifully matted and framed vintage print of The Loch Etive, a legendary tall ship built in Glasgow and famed for its voyages on the Sydney, Australia run. The image shows the ship with sails nearly still, gliding across a calm sea — a moment of stillness amid the rigors of seafaring life.
This print includes a historical caption mounted on the back, detailing the ship’s connection to novelist Joseph Conrad, who once served aboard as a junior third mate, and recounting the legacy of Captain Stuart of Peterhead.
