Each plate is tin-glazed earthenware, made to mimic Chinese export porcelain, which was highly popular in Europe during the 1700s. The floral borders, muted blue tones, and unglazed footrings with firing grit are consistent with 18th-century Dutch production.
Condition: All six plates show expected wear from age, including significant edge fritting and glaze loss around the rims, but no cracks or repairs are visible. These are display-ready for a collector of Delft or early European ceramics.
Please note: While we believe these to be authentic 18th-century Dutch Delft, there is always the possibility of later reproductions, and no maker’s mark is present. We recommend buyers do their own due diligence.
