Inspired by 19th-century Indian metal engravings, the design reflects Fenton’s masterful use of Favrile glass—originally developed by L.C. Tiffany—where pure silver is fused to the glass surface and selectively removed through sandcarving to reveal the pattern. The result is a richly decorative, museum-quality art glass piece.
This vase is numbered 182 of only 600 produced, retains its original Fenton label, and includes the original Heirloom Collection documentation and box. It was found wrapped in its original packaging and presents in like-new condition.
