This framed hand-colored Godey’s fashion print features a lovely outdoor scene of two Victorian women—one standing gracefully in a golden gown and the other seated with a parasol in a soft striped dress. Their attire, posture, and setting reflect the refined fashion and genteel social life captured in 19th-century Godey’s Lady’s Book fashion plates.
