This beautiful hand-painted porcelain plate features a traditional Chinese export design with floral sprays, fence, and rockwork motifs rendered in cobalt blue underglaze — a pattern closely associated with the Kangxi period (1662–1722) of the Qing Dynasty. The fence and floral motif, sometimes referred to as "Garden Fence" or "Scholar’s Garden," was a favored theme in 18th-century Chinese ceramics made for export to the European market. - 8.75” Round

The plate has a slightly scalloped rim, and the decoration continues on the reverse, a common hallmark of earlier production. The unglazed foot ring shows a warm buff-orange tint, another characteristic of authentic Chinese export porcelain. While the plate is unmarked, its features strongly resemble late Kangxi-period examples — or may be a 19th-century Qing dynasty revival piece, as many workshops in Jingdezhen continued producing Kangxi-style wares into the 1800s and early 1900s for both domestic and export use.

Whether a genuine Kangxi-era artifact or a fine Republic-period reproduction, this plate is a lovely collectible for lovers of antique Chinese ceramics, blue and white porcelain, or Chinoiserie decor.
