Antique Oak Arm Chair with Tiger Oak Center Back. Tiger or 1/4 sawn oak is present in much of the frame and accents of the chair. While one the subject of the frame, it's in remarkably good condition with no breaks or repairs. It's pretty special to have a padded and upholstered headrest. Did you notice the center back support with the big tiger oak medallion? I am fairly certain that the seat bottom was originally hand caned. At some point someone added a board to the seat bottom and upholstery which would have covered the original holes. Add some character to a room with this lovely chair! Generally, the time frame depends on where you live. Pieces going to a rural area in Kansas will take longer than pieces being shipped to major metros. Larger, heavier and multiple pieces that require at least two people to move can also affect the time frame. Local delivery areas include Sanford and the surrounding areas.
