Walnut three drawer chest in a late Victorian transitional style featuring Knapp joint drawer construction, a short-lived joinery method used primarily between the 1870s and early 1900s. The distinctive pin-and-scallop drawer joints help date the piece and are a notable indicator of nineteenth-century American manufacture. Craze Furniture presents this solid wood chest with original turned wooden pulls, inset side panels, and a shaped apron that reflects practical craftsmanship of the period. Three deep drawers provide substantial storage within a compact footprint suitable for bedrooms, hallways, or period interiors.
