This stunning pair of vintage bookends was crafted by Virginia Metalcrafters in 1984, inspired by the monumental bronze doors of the Library of Congress. Titled “Intellectus” and “Humanitas,” each piece features a detailed bas-relief figure symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and the spirit of humanity. These substantial brass-finished bookends capture the artistry and symbolism of the original doors in miniature form.
