Step back into mid-century engineering play with this vintage 1949 A.C. Gilbert Erector Set No. 8½, one of the more ambitious and sought-after sets from the post-war era. This all-electric model includes components to build a motorized Ferris wheel and other mechanical creations, complete with working lights and moving parts.
This set includes many original parts and its classic red metal case with interior label (partially worn). While not guaranteed to be complete, it does include the working electric motor, and many of the key structural pieces remain. One of the original silos is missing, and there may be other missing components.
