A striking example of traditional craftsmanship, this upper china cabinet was sourced directly from the former inventory of Baker & Dupree—a high-end furniture distributor and importer based in Sanford, NC. After his passing, we acquired the contents of his 6,000 sq ft building, and this elegant cabinet was among the untouched treasures we uncovered.
Featuring a beautifully sculpted bonnet top, glass-front double doors, and carved floral accents, this piece was never sold or used and remains new old stock. Inside are two fixed shelves for display and two narrow pull-out trays at the base for added functionality.
While it was originally designed to sit atop a matching base (which is no longer available), this versatile cabinet can be mounted on a wall, paired with an existing sideboard or buffet, or modernized with added legs—a popular trend that blends traditional elegance with contemporary functionality.

Generally, the time frame depends on where you live. Pieces going to a rural area in Kansas will take longer than pieces being shipped to major metros. Larger, heavier and multiple pieces that require at least two people to move can also affect the time frame. Local delivery areas include Sanford and the surrounding areas.
