An Italian Louis XV-style burl wood semainier chest features seven serpentine drawers, a contoured green marble top, and elaborate gilt-metal mounts. The traditional French semainier design, originally intended to provide one drawer for each day of the week, is distinguished by its narrow proportions and curved casework. Offered by Craze Furniture, this cabinet came from the same professional office as a Rozzoni Mobili d'Arte Italian Louis XV bureau plat writing desk, making it a complementary furnishing without confirmed shared maker attribution.
