A truly rare piece for sewing enthusiasts and collectors — the Singer 1120 Sewing Chair, originally discovered unassembled in its factory box and only just recently put together for display in our store.

  • New Old Stock (NOS): This chair remained unassembled and wrapped since 1981. We’ve carefully put it together for the very first time.

  • Functional Design: Features a padded upholstered seat in dark woven fabric with a lift-up hinged top revealing a spacious storage compartment — perfect for sewing notions, supplies, or craft tools.

  • Singer Heritage: Manufactured and shipped by The Singer Company in 1981 (original box and shipping label included).

  • Display Ready: Fully assembled, sturdy, and ready for use while retaining its vintage “time capsule” appeal.

Condition:

  • Assembled for the first time in 2025 — structurally excellent.

  • Upholstery and finish are in pristine condition with only minor handling wear from assembly and storage.

  • Original box shows wear but is included for provenance.

Dimensions:
Standard chair size (seat height approx. 18–19").

✨ A rare chance to own a true Singer collectible that is also a practical, sturdy sewing chair with storage

Shipping and Delivery

We offer local, regional and national shipping and delivery.  Smaller items will be shipped via UPS, Fedex, USPS.  We are a white glove “in home” partner with Uship which allows us to ship larger pieces nationwide.  Our partnership with Uship gives us access to the highest rated “LTL” (less-than-truckload) shipping companies from around the country.  These are independent companies who wrap, transport and set up the furniture in your home.  It can take a week to six weeks to get the items booked and delivered to your home.  Generally, the time frame depends on where you live.  Pieces going to a rural area in Kansas will take longer than pieces being shipped to major metros.  Larger, heavier and multiple pieces that require at least two people to move can also affect the time frame.  Local delivery areas include Sanford and the surrounding areas.  Raleigh, Durham (Triangle Area), Fayetteville, Greensboro, Winston Salem (Triad Area).  To see instant shipping and delivery quotes, add the item to the cart then select check out.  Click the “Ship” option and fill in your address and the quote will populate.
